Zoo Garden of Rabat

The zoo of Rabat is considered as the largest and most important park in Morocco. The park offers a variety of animals, especially Moroccan and African with more than 150 species representing 2,500 animals. The park seeks to provide an environment similar to the normal life of the animal. A variety of landscapes can be seen, such as those found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco where the Atlas Lion and Berber sheeps live. The animals living in the desert such as gazelles, leopards and ostriches can be seen on sand and rock landscapes. The park also provides a wetland and tropical environment where hippopotamus, crocodiles, monkeys and other types of birds live. And the safana variety of animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, rhinoceros and ostriches made this park a great family place.
