Aguelmam Azegza is a large green lake, 30 km away from the city of Khenifra. It is one of the wetlands that spread over an area of 50 hectares, has a 1474 meters height and 9 meters depth. The lake feeds from the water flowing from sources.
Surrounded by giant cedar trees and green oak and classified biologically and ecologically as an important region to receive migratory waterbirds in the Mediterranean Atlas region such as Black birds or Green Neck Ducks during winter.
