Meknes

"Lahdim" is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Ismailia capital city. It is regarded as a symbol of the national struggle. Its authenticity and strategic location near the "Door of Bab Mansour”, made it a meeting place for visitors.
According to some historical sources, the name “Lahdim (demolition)” turn back to the demolition at the era of Sultan Al-moula Ismail, who prepared his armies before exiting to the military campaigns against his opponents or foreign occupiers.
