The school “Attareen” is located in the north of the Mosque Al-Quaraouin, it is one of the beautiful Moroccan schools in the city of Fez. Characterized by its magnificent architectural, despite its small size. It was built by Sultan Marinid Abu Said Uthman Bchiedhama between 1323 and 1325. This school consists of a major Courtyard with water basin, surrounded by a Hall square to pray and lounges equipped to receive students and professors.The decorated walls include all techniques adopted by artists with different materials which includes wood, stone, and ceramic mosaic known zellij tiles...Attareen school took its name from the market Attar (spice dealer).
