“Crocopark” is the first of its kind in Morocco, about 10 kilometers from the city of Agadir. The park includes hundreds of crocodiles of various sizes, and hundreds of species of rare plants, created by a French citizen who was born in the city of Agadir. The park located in the commune "Dararkat", on the road leading to the city of Marrakech. It lasts two years of construction, and opened its doors in 2015. It has three major basins and is home to 325 crocodiles.The crocodiles in the zoo are Nile crocodiles originated from Madagascar. The French owner of the project created a similar park in one of the African countries and the transferred the experience to Morocco.The lengthiest crocodile in the park has 2.5 meters and age of about 12 years.In addition to crocodiles, the park located in a natural space and has thousands of species of plants, from Africa, Asia and America. The number of plants in this park is around 3000 species.The park has a small waterfall, cave, in addition to the custom of crocodile’s basins."Crocopark" is rich with diverse plants located in the Souss-Massa-Draa, along with other tropical plants.
