The northern side of Morocco is characterized by nature of the mountains, forests, and beaches at the same time. In addition to swimming on beaches, the eco-tourism in natural parks such as Mount Bohashim Park is very popular.
The mountain has 8,000 hectares and located south east of Tetouan and shared with Chefchaouen, and Larache. It enjoys a diversified ecological system that qualifies him to become a favorable destination for tourists who love the mountains and natural parks.
The park Bohashim extends to a total area of over 105 hectares, including 44 hectares province of Chefchaouen and the remainder split between Larache and Tetouan. The forest constitutes 45 percent and estimated at about 50 thousand people spread over about 170 commune. The park has 125 species of birds.
The region is famous with traditions, handicrafts, architecture, which made it a distinctive place for tourists.
