Bades Beach is located 50 km from the western side of Al Hoceima near the occupied island of Bades by the Spaniards. The beach stretches for over 450 meter neighboring Al Hoceima National Park. The beach is one of the most important tourist places for the city of Al Hoceima, where the region is rich with natural diversity. The slopes and rocky masses that make up many bays along the Mediterranean coast make it a heaven for lovers of travel, camping and adventure.
The name Bades is coming from Prince `Bades Loata`, the founder of the city in the year 1709. Today, the historic city is a ruin on the estuary of Bades valley, opposing the Bades island. The tomb of the good father Abu Yaqoub al-Badesi remains a witness for its history.
